There are two different signs for SHIRK or BRUSH OFF RESPONSIBILITY. The first sign is made with both hands that take the shape of 5 and are placed near each other on the shoulder. They then turn upwards and outwards so that the palms face upwards. The lips pout a little. The second sign is made with one hand placed with the pinkie touching the shoulder. The hand swings outwards about three times as though brushing something off the shoulder. The mouth opens and shuts quickly about three times.
